We bring the lighthearted, true to life film feelings of joy to your day! We want the entire day to be comfortable for the entire team. Ez Powers (they/ze) is the owner and we have three associate photographers named Emily (they/she), Kate (she/her), and Loren (they/them). We've even added a super talented videographer Amy (she/her) to the team.
This is a big year for us. We're opening our books to ten weddings each!
Our team is passionate about serving marginalized people in love because we have firsthand experience with different forms of marginalization. We understand how the layers of a wedding day can get so much thicker when you're queer, disabled, trans, and other forms of intersections.
How I cater to offbeat weddings
As a poly queer trans masculine person from Chicago, I have the understanding of LGBTQ affirmation many merriers are seeking out in their wedding team. The biggest thing my more marginalized clients convey to me about their day is having me on their side if things go awry. And let’s be real, many celebrations of love are imperfect days in some way. Cloudy or sunny, we’re here to create something that will make you happy to hang inside your home together.
"Ez was the perfect photographer for our wedding. They were friendly, courteous, and professional. My husband and I got the photos and Ez perfectly captured the entire afternoon and into the evening. They were very easy to get into contact with, especially due to all the adjustments and changes that had to be made due to COVID. Definitely recommend Ez for any wedding."
